Avatar Guidelines
Here are the tech specs for uploading an Avatar.
List of Requirements
Avatar submission should conform to the following rules:
- 3D Model Format:
- FBX format (see note below)
- Placement:
- Position model at the origin facing Z depth.
- Pivot set to (0, 0, 0)
- Tricount:
- Maximum: 50K triangles (including outfit/wearables/accessories).
- Texture Set Requirements:
- Use PNG format.
- AlbedoTransparency texture map, size 4096x4096
- MetallicSmoothness texture map, size 4096x4096
- Normal texture map, size 4096x4096
- Use PNG format.
- Model Clean Up:
- Remove any hidden elements (e.g., delete history, freeze transform, center pivot, unused nodes).

In the future, the system will be able to support different file formats, such as GLTF/GLB (.gltf/.glb) and USD/USDZ (.usd/.usdz).
