Wearables Guidelines
It's important to know what is required for the wearables asset submission.
List of Requirements
Wearable 3D creation submission should conform to the following rules:
- 3D model format: FBX
- Placement: positioned correctly on the mannequin (Remove mannequin for submission!)
- The asset conforms to Wearables Layering Guides
- Preferred topology: quads (no need to triangulate!)
- Max tri-count limit: 7,500 triangles per wearable asset with an an exception of earrings and glasses that should be up to 2,500 triangles
- All asset UV shells must fit in ONE UV tile
- Preferred: All asset UV shells are rotated in the same direction
- Texture maps size: 4K (4096 x 4096 px square)
- Texture maps format: PNG
- Texture maps required:
- assetName_AlbedoTransparency
- assetName_MetallicSmoothness
- assetName_Normal
- assetName_RGBAMask
